Top 5 Recyclable Items

We all may wonder what recyclable items are in the world. Sometimes, the things we think are recyclable, they are actually not. So, I've made my top 5 recyclable items list. Enjoy!

1. Paper

At some point in their lives, kids learn that paper is recyclable. Paper is most likely to be known as recyclable. It's the most popular recyclable item in a lot of schools. But that is only my opinion.

2. Cardboard

Some kids don't know that cardboard is recyclable. You can recycle cardboard if it's cut in 3-by-3 sections.

3. PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)

PET or Polyethylene Terephthalate is recyclable. PET is used to make plastic bottles. So, now you know what your plastic water bottle is made out of.

4. Glass bottles

Glass bottles are recyclable. Sometimes, people throw away glass bottles into the trash instead of recycling it.

5. VHS Cassettes

Wow. Not even I knew that VHS cassettes can be recycled. I'm guessing that a lot of people don't know that VHS cassettes can be recycled. It depends on if it is made out of plastic or cardboard. If it's made out of cardboard, you can just put it in the recycling bin. If it's made out of plastic, you will have to find a place in your community or online that recycles plastic VHS cassettes.
